Audition for Act1 Theater's Production of "Uh Oh, Here Comes Christmas"

I’m directing and choreographing my first show at Act1 this season! Come out and audition for a musical comprised of short stories titled “Uh Oh, Here Comes Christmas!” Jennie Blevins, my voice coach, friend, and mentor, will be musically directing the show. With her by my side, I’m sure we will accomplish many magical moments on stage. Beyond the two of us, the show is being put together by a creative team of designers at Act1, who are bound to impress you this Christmas season with their ideas on how to bring this show to life in a minimalistic way.

Auditions are happening at the Alpharetta Presbyterian Church at 7:00 pm on September 13th and 15th. All that you need to prepare, as a performer, is a comedic monologue, approx. 1 minute in length, and a song, approx. 45 seconds in length, to be considered for this show. Note, not all actors will be required to sing after casting has been decided. Be prepared to stay after your audition and do a cold reading from the script.

Rehearsals for this show will be three days a week; Sunday at 2:00 – 5:00 pm and Tuesday/Thursday at 7:00 – 10:00 pm. The run of the show is set for December 4th – December 20th and will be four shows a weekend, for a total 12 shows.
